Building Bridges: Pakistan–Africa Economic & people to people Engagement

Delighted to mark the Islamabad launch of the Pakistan–Africa Economic Council (PAEC) and an important step towards strengthening Pakistan–Africa engagement.

On the occasion, Aliya Agha, Chairperson of The DICE Forum & CEO of Margalla Tribune, signed an MoU with the Pakistan–Africa Economic Council, establishing a framework for collaboration aimed at building stronger institutional and people-to-people connections between Pakistan and African countries.

The event was hosted by Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, Patron-in-Chief of PAEC, and brought together Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Tourism Sardar Yasir Khan, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community, as well as presidents and representatives of Chambers of Commerce.

The gathering reflected a shared recognition that Pakistan–Africa relations hold significant untapped potential. Stronger connections between our people, businesses and institutions can create new opportunities for trade, investment, tourism, cultural exchange and long-term partnerships.

For The DICE Forum, this MoU builds on our commitment to people-to-people diplomacy using dialogue, culture and institutional partnerships to create the familiarity and trust that can ultimately support greater economic engagement.
